I also built one with a .450 bushmaster pistol for ohio hunting. When you buy a lower you have to register it as a pistol so it is for all intents and purposes it is a pistol which is leagle to use for hunting.
I love my Saint AR pistol. I also put a Shockwave Blade on mine as well as a Trijicon RMR red dot. Awesome gun and a great addition to my Sig Sauer Custom Patrol rifle. 👍🏼
If anyone wishes to see factual, actual Proof of the performance capabilities of a 7 inch AR15 Pistol out to a literal whopping 200 yards go to Hot Brass and Bullets video right here on YT.
She uses a 7 inch AR15 Pistol to demonstrate fairly accurate shooting capability as well as penetration to a bunch of wood including part of the target holder Out to 200 yards!
AR15 Pistols are awesome they are the Ultimate Equalizer in a personal defense situation.
Ar pistols do have their place but not on the civilian market no matter what you do you are.fighting the 556 pistol in every way 556 requires 2700 fps minimum to tumble, you will be much better off with a 308/762×39/450bm/.50bw. I personally think ar pistols are stupid as sh!+ ,the only reason they are so popular is because you can carry them in a vehicle loaded vs a rifle sry but its not a pistol idc what you say a 2 1/2 ft gun is not a pistol lol
There's a lot of truth to what you said here. I think you hit home when you said an AR pistol is an "addition", not a "replacement" for the rifle. I do see a place for the PCC's too. Me personally, I like a "system". For example, I'm a Glock guy (like 'em, or not). I might carry a G-26 on my person, and have a bag close by with a G-34, an AR-9mm and a fist full of magazines that fit all of them. I also carry a G-27 on me, with a G-22, a Sub-2000 and a fist full of 40 cal. mags in a bag, which is another "system". But I also have a 10.5" AR-15 pistol (223/556) that has its place among other AR's, up to a 24" barrel. But all of my AR's chamber 223/556 because I don't like buying a bunch of different caliber rounds. I'd rather buy a lot of one kind, when it comes to defense. But again, that's just me. So, I guess I'd say that I don't like brussel sprouts, but I don't knock those who do. Good video with a lot of truth. Thanks.
10.3" has been determined to be the absolute minimum barrel length for the 5.56 to be effective and tumble and fragment and still be reliable, with a 7.5" barrel the round wont tumble and frag it will just poke holes.

what rail and muzzle you got on yours?
I think people who buy ar15s for home defense are a little crazy. I'd take an AR Pistol any day.
Rant accepted, very good points! 👍
an ar 15 pistol does an excellent job for a pistol category firearm , great video 😉
I like the 20 inch over the 16. I have no issues clearing houses with a good ole A2

I got mine frome Daytona tactical, and decked it out from wish.com whole thing for about 550 and it never jams and its very accurate for what it is.
What Barrel did you to make sure it shot all the ammo
55 gr even at 2100 fps is deadly….you can get that w/7.5 in bbl and 3-5 moa to 200 meters
I totally agree with every single word! Great video! I have a 10.5 inch for home defense from psa and i love it!
I like them as well, But you better have hearing protection on if you are shooting out of a vehicle or indoors.

Ask anyone who says they are no good to stand down range and let you take some shots at them. Nuff said.

Great review nice AR pistol i would like to build one with a 8" barrel in 300 Blackout. I like the Aero precision complete upper.
I would go with the 9mm for such a short barrel. Just my opinion.
I agree that AR pistols beat pistol caliber carbines in every way.
