I have a Venom on my G19 edc, Strikefire 2 on my AR pistol and have owned 3 strikefire 1's but left them on rifles when I sold them. Never had an issue but wish the battery life on the venom was better than a month on auto brightness

Yes, I will get to the point in regard to Vortex. This Christmas I gave a friend a LaRue MBT trigger. That said, I was surprised when he gave me an EoTech and Magnifier. His comment to me was that he has removed all of his EoTech sets (and he had several) and replaced all of them with Vortex. Considering the price difference I considered that a very strong statement for Vortex.
The only Vortex that I have are conventional scopes, but I am pretty happy with them.
