  1. I just noticed the weld on the back of bolt frame is hitting my stock ar buffer and denting it. Also a 1/16 of slop back and forth…. does yours do this? Is it even sposed to move?

  2. Just ordered two, one for my new CMMG and one for my 34 year old Ceiner conversion bolts! Have not experienced any problems with them, just the plastic lip Black Dog Mags, the steel lip ones work fine too. The CMMG came with a dedicated AR upper, the other I bought in 84 after purchasing a Colt AR.

  3. Do you have wear marks on your Lower Receiver from the CMMG conversion kit?

I recently purchased the CMMG .22lr Bravo Conversion kit, then later the Taccom 22lr Pressure Plug from an online site for my AR15.
The Taccom Pressure Plug goes in the buffer to push up on the bolt.

Initially I did not have the Pressure Plug. Upon shooting with the CMMG .22lr conversion kit it, I noticed that it left a mark on the top part of my lower reciever. So I bought the Taccom Pressure Plug in hopes that it may alleviate this.

So before I went off to shoot again with the Pressure Plug, I used a Permanent Black marker to cover the wear markings made by the CMMG 22lr conversion kit on my ARs lower. I then inserted the Pressure Plug into the buffer tube where the ARs buffer detent held it in place firmly.

The Result with the Pressure Plug after shooting:
The CMMG still hits the top part of the lower receiver, as it did last time.
The Black Permanent marker ink came off the lower reciever and some of the paint was on the back of the CMMG kit where it was hitting.

Lastly Did your recoil buffer ever get produced?

  4. I'm having issues. The hammer hits the buffer. This happens in all the rifles I've tried (all have standard hammers with the tail cut off). It also happens with both conversion bolts I have (CMMG & Taccom3g).

  5. Nice idea! I'll stick to using a simple O Ring from the local hardware store though since its works well as cushioning the bolt from slamming into the back plate and quiets the action when shooting suppressed.

  6. I hadn't until now, I just checked out thier website and it looks like it could help if your having an issue heck even if your not $8.00 is pretty cheap I might get it a try Thanks
