  1. Great video. Do you think it’s too expensive to do an all lightweight v seven build with their 2055 uppers and lowers? They are almost $800… not to mention their lightweight handgaurds. Does the aeroshell grease an anti seize compound or a lubricant or a semi permanent locktite substance?

  2. When you torque the barrel nut, the crows foot has to be 90 degrees to the length of the wrench to get the torque value you set the wrench for. Having the crows foot to the forward side of the wrench lengthens the the distance of the wrench, you are over torquing the nut. Conversely, if the crows foot is aimed toward the wrench itself, you are then under torquing the nut.

  3. I just sent for there 12 1/2 inch tube and am matching it up with a Sharp Riffle Company Ext performance bolt carrier group . Looking at the MWI Quad rail t is solid . Im just wanting a good set up for home and out to 300 yards the 12 1/2 inch barrel should fit that great .

  4. I'm strongly considering the purchase of a V Seven barrel. However it's easily seen that the bead blast job is not done very well. I hope for the pricetag that that all other tasks are performed with a greater attention to detail.

  5. I really enjoy your videos my friend… I noticed at 6:35 after the torque wrench clicked you gave it one more pull. I know that the torque is not all that critical but to be accurate, stop pulling when the wrench snaps. Great video.

  6. I have one of their 5.56 18" match barrels and it is great. From reading a few of the other comments here about not fitting reloads V7 barrels are lapped to very tight tolerances and that might be some of the problem. I don't reload at this time but know a bit about it and would think if you are running good full length dies they should work. One other thing I like about their barrels is that you can get fluting and it colored too, not much in to silver barrels in a black gun. You get what you pay for and if you are buying V7 you are paying for it.
