  1. Only issue that I can see happening is getting a round jammed in there really bad and needing to take it down. Well, you CAN'T take it down traditionally, but it seems like a pretty cool variant of the original stoner design. I like it a lot!

  2. How does it perform suppressed? I have a 8.5” 300 blkout and am wanting to put this on it but am waiting due to no reviews on it running suppressed. Are you going to have a follow up video like you said running it suppressed?

  3. I just wonder how such an Upgrade took so long to come up. Once most Modern Assault rifles (excluding Bullpups) have buffering systems wich allow them to fold the Stock. So It's nice to see finally (considering how popular AR-15 is in US) such adaptation is available.

  4. Any follow-up reviews to this product? I saw a YouTube of it on 2018 shotshow which reminded me this products was around. I’m checking it out on their website and wondering about reliability. The assembly doesn’t bother me. I’m interested in this for my AR pistol, which is timely because the final part i need is the BCG, and I saw this vid and wondering if there has been any issues that’s crept up since this posting, mostly I am curious about the spring stats, strength and how replaceable are the recoil/buffer springs which I haven’t heard anything mentioned from any reviewers.

  5. A good idea, but released too early. It needs to be "refined". It's do-able, but not feasible as is. Call this "Gen 1", only to be found later, on eBay, at discounted prices. A folding stock is for storage, not shooting. If you want to shoot an AR pistol "short style", allow me to suggest a piston pistol, like the Kel Tec PLR-16. I appreciate the video. Thanks for sharing this product.

  6. I'm planning to build an AR pistol in .300 AAC Blackout, using the DFA pistol buffer system. I wasn't sure if it would work with .300 Blackout, so seeing this video has convinced me I'm on the right track. The only thing I was thinking of doing differently is using an eight inch barrel.

  7. I was going to buy the drd Aptus takedown(when it came out) but it looks like I'll just get this and thin other quick change barrel system(forgot the name of the company).
Is there a way to make it fold to the left? I mean I see no reason why the hinge can't be installed/ flipped over so that it would fold to the left.
What about other caliber a like 458 socom or 50 Beowulf or 6.5 Grendel?

  8. One issue I can add from this design for the people that lives in California. Bullet button no longer legal (soon enough) and now you have to take the rear take down pin, break your AR upper open in order to remove the magazine.

  9. will they make a non stock version for use on an AR pistol? as is, I think the BATF would complain that it's meant to be a stock even if you removed the folding part.
