The low pro gas block that i originally installed with my Noveske rail, was a little too big. I bought a smaller one and wanted to show you how to switch it out. The second GB was this one:

WMD makes a stainless steel gas tube that has a salt finish. it's a nice flat Black.You can get it in all three sizes.
I just bought a dpms oracle and it had a large gas block with a rail on top so how do i replace that with a low gas block to buy a long rail.

What's the barrel length?
Have you had any issues with the gas block moving on you at all? Really don't want to end up having to dimple my barrel. Good video

Got one of these and was wondering how other folks lined up the holes. I ended up using a tip which was to block the barrel with my finger while blowing into the barrel and you will be able to feel the wind going through the tube in the upper receiver. You have to do this with the upper off but it works.
And you are right it is a very tight fit for that thing. I used a brass jewelers hammer to dance it on since it was small enough to hit both sides of the block so it will go on straight and not cant. I also thought the set screws were holding it up so I removed them too. It is just one hell of a tight fit.

The top rail on the receiver is enough for me. My build went pretty smooth no problems at all even the spring for the ejection port was easy. Honestly took me about an hour to build the whole gun.

Just a question I just bought 3 colt 6920 oem 1s without the furniture and I would like to put a long rail on like you put on yours My question is all I have to do is get the front post site off and just order a low profile gas block like you did and I dont have to hack up my front sight with grinders and all that good stuff like Ive been seeing some of these guys cutting thier front sight and then grinding it down and slapping it back on,I kinda think thats a little crazy when you can just get a low profile gas block like you did .So thats my question just wanted to know if I can do the same as you did? Thank you

cos I am going to build one of my m4 aeg soon , still waiting for the metal body , and I have a question about the gas block , is it the gas blow back and the gear box system is different or the same , which mean I can just buy the Madbull Noveske licensed 14.5 Inch Afghan Outer Barrel w/ Gas Block & Gas Tube .
Then I can have my blow back system on it ??

Was having the same issue with mine, thanks for uploading the video, my barrel was already dimpled for set screws so it's obvious I need to go ahead and order myself a similar setup.
fyi, Spike's Tactical makes a black mid-length gas tube. I have one on my upper. I checked Midway, Bravo Company, AIM Surplus, Joe Bob's Outfitters, and Spike's Tactical and it seems like everywhere is out of stock.
