G96 Gun Treatment (Cleans & Preserves + freezing temps no prob)

When making this video I forgot to recommend the above product! LOVE this stuff. Online tests show guns stored in literal snow with and without treatment. WITH G96 guns fire without issue….WITHOUT they jam up like crazy. Best gun cleaning solution on the market hands down!

This is a comparison video of the Streamlight TLR6 vs Crimson Trace. Both laser and laser flashlight combos are shown on Glock 26 and Glock 19 models. This video is for entertainment purposes only. 1. The Armalaser that you talk about in the postings below is GREAT if you use it at home. If you live in a cold climate and wear gloves, the Armalazer WIL NOT COME ON.

As I said in my other post (or eluded too), IMO, the CT Front Instant Activation is the best.

You don't have to worry about if your fingers reach far enough to turn on something, and can be used with gloves. I have "small" hands, and without changing grip I can not on/off the one shown here.

I have NEVER had to concentrate to keep my CT on.

As a side note, another thing about having the CT system is that with PURPOSELY loosening my middle finger I can turn it off.

Then when I need/want it, just grip for a shot, drop my finger to trigger and my shot is ready.

With the activation you have in this example, I would have to change my grip to turn it off. Then when I need/want it, I'ld have to change grip to turn on, change grip to fire, put finger on trigger…..now I'm ready.

The Armalaser, as long as you don't wear gloves would be, for me, the best choice. But because I live in WY, it gets cold so I do wear a thin pair of gloves outside when it's cold, 3/4 of the year LOL.

And as I've said before, all of mine ar the CT Front Instant activation, and from day 1 NEVER have I had to concentrate to keep a tight grip. Mabey I grew up at a different time and was taught to hold my pistol with a firmer grip that what others train now. But I was also taught in the big boy rounds, 44 Mag & such. On these y ok u better have a hold or it's coming out of your hand.

  2. I do understand what your saying, but as far as your talking about in your pocket, this is a BS comparison.

You have different length of pistol which us going to affect pulling from your pocket. You also have different weights and round count, which also affects the pocket issue.

So the pocket stuff you pointed out can be DENIED. For a comparison on the pocket issue, you MUST use either a 26 or a 19 for BOTH. Then you may have a compelling argument, though I doubt it.

Also, it's all in how you train. I have q CT on my 19, and as a matter of fact, just sold the Laserguard, and bought the new CT that now has a Green laser AND a flashlight/strobe, the Pro Series.

I also have CTs on my P938, and Kimber Master Custom/Pro/Ultra (BEAUTIFUL series I think), Glock 43 (CT Pro), and S&W 357.

CT Customer Service is GREAT as well. The Master Carry Ultra grip went out and they sent me a new pair, and paid shipping both ways and the pistol I had had for 4.5 years, and they STILL covered it. And batteries once a year for life, for free (granted batteries don't cost a lot of $)

Also, while i know "something" is better than nothing, it perplexes me why people buy quality firearm, and then put the CHEAPEST accys on thier weapons (ie…$600+ pistol in a $10 holster, rail light that costs $10 that comes from China that you can just tell its 💩 and even looks like 💩). But that's me. And that's what makes all the firearms and accys out there so GREAT, options.

Just when doing a pocket comparison about different accys, both pistols need to be the same.

  3. My finger wouldn't reach that button. I would have to get the button pressed in a way that would change how I draw. The middle and ring finger is where you should have a firm grip, so laser or no laser you should be concentrating on a very firm grip with those two fingers anyway.

I tried a Crimson Trace without any issues and one similar to this one you have with the light and I had a hard time reaching to press the button. So I think hand size would be a factor in what you would choose. The laser I really like was the one that turned on automatically when you pulled the gun out of the holster. I can't think of the brand right off the top of my head, but it was pretty cool. What I didn't like was that you needed to use the holster they had and I didn't like the leather backing with belt loops since I exclusively believe in having a full Kydex holster with the trigger guard fully covered. This means that I would never pocket carry as I feel that is too unsafe.

The lumens on the light is only 100. That is not bright enough in my opinion. It should be a minimum of 500 lumens. My tac light is 1000.

  4. The crimson momentary switch is very impractical why wouldn't they put a click button switch or just integrate it into the trigger when the safety is depressed it activates wouldnt that be the smart thing to do or make it come on when pressure is applied to the backstrap or finger grip pressure switch or proximity sensor damn I just came up with 3 much more practical switch positions/applications

  5. Just wanted to say hello as a fellow Vickers G19 owner. Our serials are far apart, but we're in the same 2500 crowd! Thanks for the vid, looking for stuff for my G43.

  6. I never once had to concentrate or make a conscious effort to turn the Crimson trace laser on. It just comes on when I grip the pistol. It may be more money but it is worth it. I love the fact that the laser just comes on like magic when I grip the pistol. I just wouldn't purchase another laser that I had to turn on to activate.

  7. Great honest reviews which is hard to come by these days. I was trying to decide between these exact two options and you have helped make up my mind. You can’t beat the price plus an extra option with the light. Thanks.

  8. Dude this video has been long awaited I've wanted the crimson trace and at the price tlr might be better. I haven't bought either because I couldn't find green to match my night sight. but think Ima get a red tlr

  9. Is the TLR-6 as aggravating to choose which mode you want to use as it seems? Can you not turn on the laser without turning on the light?

  10. Streamlight is just flat out superior.  Hmmm…half the cost.  Laser AND flashlight.  I have a TLR6 on my M&P Shield.  Perfect.  Don't even need to look any further.  Streamlight is awesome.  I bought a Glock 19 and it's on its way.  I plan on putting one (Streamlight TLR-6 69290) on it as well.  It's $90.  Shut up and take my money!
