People complain about the battery life of the Eotech, and I understand why. However, that's why there are other optic choices. I have EoTechs on all my AR/M4 variants. Once I used one in the military, it was love at first sight. Pun intended. The battery debate… It has a LOT MORE pixels to power, with the 65moa ring, than an Aimpoint. 600 hours is good enough for me, because I like the ring for quick acquisitions, and the 1moa dot for 100 plus meters. YMMV. I'm looking forward to this laser. I hope it gets good reviews.

I went onto optics planets website and it listed the eotech laser battery cap as discontinued!?

an eye safe, IR lazer because when your pointing a gun at someone have to make sure there eyes are safe
I think the optic itself is one of the most "tacticool" looking options out there, but reliability simply isn't on par with aimpoint, trijicon , etc.

The idea sounds great, wonder how sturdy it'd be after getting knocked around a little though. It's risky paying Eotech prices to find out.
They should stop investing in laser bullshit and improve their battery life!
