the m16 is the cheap army model. get it and try 2 survive. not 4 fun.
My first AR had a fixed carry handle. It sucked. The modularity on modern rifles is what has taken us to the next level.
I hate how underappreciated the 20" ARs are nowadays
Sorry i can't spend 3 grand on an AR.
This show is going very personal behave kids
Lose a lil velocity? You use a lot! Thats why my 10.5 pistol is in 300 blkout!! Great video and ty!!
The longer barrel is a negative in urban warfare, and even in home defense (when clearing a room).
I’m an Ak guy but for real those 20” barrels spit out crazy velocities
Anyone know what type of iron sights he’s running on the modern ar
I never seen You put a suppresor on that expensive fing ..i am curios how it Shoot with a suppresor
The M-16 was designed to be a day time combat weapon, period!
What flip ups sights are on the ar15?
How do you feel about 16" vs a pistol build?
I shoot almost every weekend now and im stuck trying to pick after having good success with multiple Galil pistols, that new PSA AKV and a CZ Scorpion. 50 yards and under for this type of practice. There is a public 200yard range too though which makes me lean towards something like a M&P15 Sport II for $450.
The GHM9 looks fun and i don't mind using 9mm out to 50 yards or more but I've never shot one so not sure if worth it.
Always good to have a wife that likes getting blasted in the face. I recycled today also, thanks.
I'd prefer the M-16 style gun because looking like a Classic 80's action hero would scare the beJesus out of most would-be home Invaders. They'd be too distracted by it to focus on anything else.
Heres the thing, most common people arent special operators or swat folk, double stacking or playing delta force is pointless
I enjoyed this video and i subscribed
New ar's are cool but that, old style ar15 with irons and integrated carry handle with irons have a majestic feeling to it i like. You can't go wrong with a 20 inch, with irons batteries not required for irons and us nearsightedness and farsightedness folks. I like point shooting as well.
Im actually an ak fanboy lol
Just bought an AR15. What is maximum effective distance of a red dot, please? I’ve heard 50 yards up to 150.
What about twist rate and projectile weight differences over these 50 years? You used identical ammo for the review?
I like the M16 style rifles, probably because i'm old. : )
Need new castle nut wrench lol
What's the upper on that SBR?
I live in oelwein IA I was so shocked to see you live in my neck of the woods
I preferred the inverted V shape fore end of the M16A1. I do prefer shooting with a red dot sight on modern AR’s
Great AR versus video Sir !!!!!!!!
Great video ,hardly any recoil jump from the M16 .
I like the comment at the end from your wife.
nice video Thanx !
I've carried the M16A1, A2, and A3, and qualified expert with all three. At 250 meters, I could get 6" groups or less, prone unsupported.
I love the comparison . The M16 clone seems to hitting that steel just a little harder and it has a really cool nostalgic look to it , But a modern AR with a 16" barrel and an optic is tough to beat (I have a few). Your wife had me cracking up at the end with that little wisecrack! great video brother as always.
Nice Comparison, 😂 Carry On
Lmao at the end. Would love more vs demonstrations. Great review ty!
The USMC still uses a 20" barrel because they're goal is to kill enemy combatants.
And no the 11.5" barrel is not more accurate than a rifle up to 100 yards.
I spent my time behind a trigger as a Marine ( 16 years).
There is a reason the 20" is carried into combat rather than a short inaccurate toy.
What happened to the proof research barrel build??? The one you were thinking about putting a Swarovski on. I’d really like to see how that rifle groups because there are 0 videos of proof barrel accuracy from normal guys
Hopefully that doesn't cum up at the next family dinner. 😂
My department still uses the legit m16 full autos….
Another nice video again. But check this out. This channel is using your video. https://youtu.be/N0fTP5Jq-4o
What type of riser do you have on your 11.5 in AR?
How often do you have to replace that bcg that’s the titanium right
Lol!! Great video. Your wife does a great job filming every time.
Great vid man!
You need to check out Kotaboy32, he's shot out to 600 yards with his 7.5" AR with minor tumbling.
Don’t judge but my main go to AR is a 20 A2, something about it
20" AR for me
They work under both circumstances except in muddy or sandy or wet environments 😈 ak superior
I have a classic style M4 carbine sized AR15 that I use for home defense. I use a product that sandwiches the A2 front sight and gives a picatinny rail on both sides for mounting a light. It looks like this: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mGHQ61E-1h4/USgVvqujvCI/AAAAAAAABjI/KhOFhnmVyuU/s1600/Front-Sight-Mounts-6.jpg
What brand skeletonized QD mount is that?
Keep up the great work! Love these early uploads…and once again, the wife never fails to get a laugh, hahaaaa
Not a really topical question, but will replacing the trigger group on a glock potentially affect it's reliability?
