ILA | Minnesota: Senate to Consider Judiciary Omnibus Bill Tomorrow

Tomorrow, the Minnesota Senate is scheduled to consider the Senate Judiciary Omnibus bill, SF 802.  Anti-gun legislators might take this as an attempt to push gun control amendments during the floor vote.  Please contact your state Senator and strongly urge them to oppose any attempt to amend SF 802 with gun control language.

Similar to attempts in the House, anti-gun legislators might attempt to push amendments including, so-called “universal” background checks, and “red flag” legislation.  These measures failed standing on their own and shouldn’t be included in the Judiciary Omnibus bill.

Again, please contact your state Senator and urge them to OPPOSE any attempt to amend SF 802 with gun control language.
