I could imagine that would actually be perfect for dealing with pests like coyotes and ground hogs. It's funny when civilians moan about being denied the full auto short barrel version. There's absolutely no legitimate reason for a civilian to own one. Some people just have more money than sense.

I have the PS90 & the FN Pistol, both in 5.7. I have thought about carrying the Pistol, but I can never seem to get up enough nerve, since I have always carried a 1911 in .45 acp. I question the stopping power. My friend claims that I am firing "Ice Picks", and he does not consider the stopping power adequate unless you empty the magazine. Any thoughts as to stopping power?
Such an under appreciated round. Unless you need to run your pistol/smg suppressed+subsonic; it can not be beat in a CQC scenarios.

The 5.7 was designed as a pdw to provide better armor penetration and slighter flatter trajectory+longer range (also slightly higher rate of fire) then 9mm (other pistol calibers too) sub machine guns
