I love both flashlight brands. I started out buying streamlight tools, like a lot of guys do. Then when I could afford surefire, I made the “switch.” Yes, they both illuminate things great. I get it. I like that surefire has a lifetime warranty, they are also made in the USA. I’ve used my p3x fury almost everyday since new and have never had issues, this same light spent a winter outside in the Canadian winter, and also a light that fell, (in super slo-no,albeit) from the top of a corrugated cardboard baling machine, 16-18 feet down onto concrete, directly on the side of the bezel. No damage.
Had a SF LX2 for six years, all time favorite. The gas pedal switch the quality the throw… 200 lumens for 9000k+ candela is a monster. To me if ya wanna a light that you can count on it 100%, go with SF. But I also ordered a new coyote tan SL Protac 1L-AA recently, just like ya said it’s a bang for the bucks, very versatile and to me more disposable than my SF. Kitbag flashlight? Streamlight is definitely more than adequate. A light that won’t fail you ever? SF goes wherever I go. Awesome awesome video man, keep it up!
Try the surefire with a li-ion. Should give a modest boost in output for both modes, and, it's fucking rechargeable. Just use unprotected cells in this light.
I love head lamps . And the steemlight with the hat clip is a big plus as well as a quality company . I have to admit I subscribed and already you have me sold on one of these lights and the King Comp and the Oppressor.
Are You going to SHOT SHOW ? I think you could pick up some sponsors. I think you have a good shot at getting sponsors. Only thing I would suggest is Getting a Better camera and a Mic. I am surprised you don't get free ammo already . You make good content that is Honest and appeals to the average guy. .

I got the stream light Protac hL 500 lm in 2008 And it still runs good 2019 but I’m thinking about getting rechargeable batteries
IMHO, Streamlight FTW.. SureFire can’t justify that price comparing it to the Streamlight. To my eye they look like illuminate practically the same .
