  1. Thanks for the review. I just bought the 2.5x from optics planet for 179 plus add'l 5% with a coupon code "WORK7" I picked the 2.5x because of the CQB ability. I can't use a regular red dot because of my bad astigmatism so i think tjos is an awesome solution. I can't wait to try it out on my AR!

  2. PA's 2.5x ACSS scope is a POS. When I unboxed it the reticle was sharp and clear. After running 80 rounds through my AR. Brightness setting from 5 to 11 had a really bad glare/reflection from the light source. And to make it worse there are two distracting bars of light. Top and bottom of the scope. Contacted PA, they said its normal. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!! You get what you pay for.

  3. Got a couple of questions: Why a fixed power over a 1-4x variable scope?

For CQB, looks like the FOV would be so limited, the optic would just about be useless???

  4. I'm looking for my first optic. Got an AR that will be an "all around" gun as it took me quite some time to get this one…I don't know when I'll be able to get another one to start setting them up for different applications. So…if I am looking for one all around optic, would you go with something like these prism scopes to operate as a "magnified red dot" so to speak, or would you go with variable powered illuminated reticle or maybe a cheaper red dot and cheaper standard scope on qd mounts?

    Thanks.

  5. i am having an issue finding out how long the battery life is on the scopes? next question, out of the 2.5, 3x, and 4x which one would you pick all around use? – thanks
