Just a short video showing my first carbine length AR-15, an M4 clone. I wanted to keep this rifle simple but high in quality without being too expensive. Here’s a list of the parts used in this build:

-Palmetto State Armory lower receiver
CMMG lower parts kit
-BCM buffer tube, spring, buffer, and stock
-BCM handguards
-BCM bolt carrier group
-BCM upper receiver, 14.5″ barrel with permanent flash hider, overall barrel length of 16.2″
1:7″ twist rate
-BCM Vltor Gunfighter charging handle, Medium
-BCM A3 handle/rear sight (to be purchased)

Thanks for watching!

  1. That's awesome !! I have a 14.5 BCM midlength. I'm looking at a M4 style carbine for my next rifle. The 16" M4's don't look right. I'm the same as you. I hate mall ninja rifles. All mine are very simple

  2. So I have mine completed. Also had the psa lower at first and now have a BCM lower. Thinking I'd get a better fit with the bcm lower, but didn't. Overall I'm liking it so far. Hope you have a chance to take yours out and shoot!

  3. Things always turn up when you're not looking for it!!!

The build looks awesome. I've always like the "BCM" logo on their uppers. Some companies don't even mark their uppers.

We gotta meet up and send some down range. CHEERS!!!

  4. How awesome is that, at least you have as spare coming in the mail.  Laughed a lot hearing the news.  Still looking for my lost parts.   Get a RRA NM carry handle,  works great for me w/ irons at 600 w, 69 gn SMK w/ 24 gn of (varget, RL 15 or AR Comp).  Pick your poison w/ the powder.  What's the twist in that Barrel you have?
