  1. I was looking at a Smith & Wesson M&P Sport 15,and was asking the man at the counter(Dunham's Sports)on how to remove the hand guard(The M&P Sport has rather generic looking handrails). He told me it was rather difficult,Seeing this video is one more step towards my decision on purchasing the gun.I'd never buy one from them, they're $150 more($840)! I found one online for $560.The only difference was the $840 gun had a muzzle break.

  2. asked that back when i got my first ar and didnt know anything about them. i think i took the hand guard off on my first one once. my second iv done it maybe twice cuz i shot it in the rain. still would be nice to own though for ease of use when you get a new ar and want to remove the handguard to install a rail

  3. lol this video makes me so mad. I just built my first AR recently and getting the handguard halves on was a PITA. Then this guy just shows off this tool and does it so easily haha.

Well I sure am going to buy it, no question there.

  4. my delta ring must be tighter than others, because it would literally be impossible to remove them by hand nomatter how much time you spent trying. thank god for this tool lol.

  5. im thinking about buying an m&p 15 if i ever wanted to remove the plastic standard hand guard and put on a rail system, how would i go about securing it to the upper? and i have been looking at larue tactical one if that helps.

  6. …I've been removing handguards manually from my M4 (and m16A4 before that) ever since I was issued it. Man up and do it the "right" way. 😀

My M4 has the Picatinny rail type guards, too, so they're a real bitch to take off….especially if you keep the screw that holds the upper one in…
