  1. Joseph..unfortunately it will not…Straight for MI…
"The SSK does not work with the Adams Arms piston, the SSK barrel nut is too long and does not allow the XLP to function correctly.
Modifications can be done to the piston rod to make it work, but it’s not a drop in fit."

  2. Hi. I just bought this rail. Thanks for the video. I wanted one as light as my SI 12" keymod rail and the MI one is perfect and priced well.

I have had issues installing a wide variety of low-pro gasblocks with the SI gen 1 keymod, so I am nervous for this one given the slim profile. The LP GB that I had issues with that I really want to utilize so it doesn't go to waste is the YHM-9384 which is the one with the similar profile on the top to most LPGPs, but has the 2 slanted pinch screws on the bottom. Do you think it will fit my new SSK?

  3. Do you know if Midwest will offer panel covers for the K series like they have for the SS one piece? I like the flat dark earth panels/hand stop for that one.

  4. Thing is, the two piece was the 9", which fits the midlegnth with front sight post. If I put that on the carbine, I'd be chopping the front sight post on both. I only need one rifle with a folding sight to run my new Vortex Viper pst 1-4. And I want a 12" or 13" handguard for the rifle I use the scope with.

  5. Is that a 16" barrel on the rifle in the vid? I just put your gen2 ff 2 piece rail on my midlegnth. Commented on the Youtube vid for it a couple times. Looking at this K Series for my carbine.

  6. Firstly, thanks for taking the time to upload this video. It was great. I plan to get this rail, in this length, on the same length barrel, so it was good to see it all together. Also, using the steel pattern floor mats as a background is a great idea. I plan to shoot some videos soon, and I may use this method. I hope you don't mind. 😉
