  1. 8:38 no they are not lol. I have an Eotech and I can admit myself Eotechs have their faults, mainly their battery life of 600 to 1k hours compared to aimpoint's 50k hours of life. Also, they're much bulkier and heavier on a rifle next to a T1 micro. And now eotech's most recent issue is the so called thermal drift.

    The biggest benefit of an eotech is the fact parallax isn't much of an issue, but most red dots manufactured today hardly have parallax issues as well so the only real edge Eotech has over most red dots is it's field of view and 65moa circle reticle which in my opinion isn't best suited for precision. However, the 1moa red dot in the middle is a major selling point for a lot of people including me.
