What does this guy know? It's not like he manufacturers barrels or anything. I'd rather listen to an 18 year old millennial with no experience tell me how to build a rifle. đź‘Ť
german torque!
Yikes looks complicated I will have someone install the barrel
I have that primative tool.. but all other videos recommend a real torque wrench with lb ft' settings. I hate to spend extra when I don't need to
Thanks guys. This was extremely informative!
I just purchased a 16” BA Hanson .625 to go with my Aero Precision builders set, but I have several install questions. First what kind of grease or lube should I use for the barrel to the reciever and the barrel nut to the reciever. It so confusing, because all of the different opinions. Second do you measure headspace with Failzero bcg, or should I buy a set and double check? What lube is recommended on the muzzle device and buffer tube / castle nut?
What armorer's wrench do you use?
I like how heavy duty it is
You guys make nice stuff. My 300 blackout pistol with your premium barrel is a work of art. But I did install it with a torque wrench and milspec grease. You guys are scaring us!
So I just got my barrel in and had the reciever lapped. Excited to try it out tomorrow if it doesn't rain. Kinda worried because Johnnys Reloading bench just did a series on your ar10 barrel in 308 18" and it was NOT good. Might want to hit him up and talk about a replacement…
Just purchased a 18in Hanson barrel with mid length gas system for my Palmetto State Armory rifle. The barrel that they use from the factory is not the best and is shooting roughly 1 and 1/2 in Moa. I'm excited to get the new Barrel in and installed. Thank you for giving me a quick Barrel install video so I can properly install it myself. I am one of those guys who hates to pay someone else for something that I can do. Thank you again for the install video. I am looking forward to sub MOA accuracy with match Grade ammo. I think my factory ammo is much better than match Grade ammo so I'm really excited to see how well it does. I will post a video once it is all installed and at the range. Thanks again for promising a quality Pearl.
Love your no frill get it done.
Love that you kept this simple. Don’t need a bunch of expensive tools to put a barrel on.
Just got my Aero upper receiver. My next paycheck I will be ordering one of your barrels to throw on it!
Thank you for explaining barrel installation doesn't require $1000 worth of tools and a torque wrench that reads to the thousandth of a lb-ft. Now I'm off to install my Ballistic Advantage 300 Blackout barrel….
Bravo-Zulu!! Great Video I really like the KISS principle that you use.
I ordered a Ballistic Advantage 14.5" M4 profile modern series barrel from ManmouthReloaders.com. It did not come with the FSB so I will be installing one. Are the holes predrilled for the FSB taper pins???? I sure hope so..
Great Video brother! I just purchased the Premium Series 14.5" Hanson in 223 Wylde . I can't wait to install it and try it out. It's my first build and I've been watching videos but your video is the best one by far because you use the KISS method. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
Just ordered my first BA barrel for my first build. Pretty excited.
Thanks Clint, I just received one of your barrels today and plan to install it tonight. Will use your method over the "tighten barrel nut 3x" method, after all if the guys who make the damn barrel don't do that why should I! First time build and there is a lot of conflicting info out in youtube land
Well I'll be damn.
Just watched a Shetland Brock Lesnar install a barrel.
Run 4 BA barrels 1 – 20" 223 wylde, 1 10.5" 556, 1 18" Hanson 308 & 1 22" 6.5 Creedmoor and IÂ LOVE them all.
You're a very competent Armorer/Gunsmith. Some of the people making videos should be better off watching people you you. Then actually attempting to make a Video and doing the work themselves. I am Colt Trained and enjoyed you're video.
Thanks for a concise and clear video! I'm ordering my barrel from you guys hopefully this week.
I'm really glad Aero Precision picked you guys up. I bought their 16" M4 barrel and it's amazing. Next build is going to be a 16" Hanson. Not sure if I wanna do .223 wylde or 5.56….. so many choices 🙂
Great video buddy. Nice and simple instructions. Just installed my Ballistics Advantage Barrel to this video. You guys have excellent products and I'm ordering a new barrel in .300blk for my next project.
Badass
I like to use some lube and ease it in
Just got my BA Hanson 14.5 with fail zero barrel extension. The thing is an absolute beast.
Newb question. I'm building a 300blk sbr and will want to shoot sub and super out of it. Should I get an adjustable gas block? I planned on just getting the lo pro that you all suggest on your site and using a standard carbine buffer. Didn't know what you all recommended when using sub and super loads.
Dude awesome shirt! I want one! btw bought one of ur 12.5" barrels for my suppressed sbr!
I am Ballistic Advantage Dealer. I could not be happier with the quality of the products and the customer service.
👏🏼 interesting!!!
Can't wait to get back from deployment and install my 5.45 barrel!!!!
Just finished my build with my Ballistic Advantage barrel and love it. BCM low pro gas block fit and lined up great. Super accurate. Thanks guys
Great vid alot of ppl are going to be butt hurt now
Thank for the vid, and good to see you guys on YT! Â I just ordered a 14.5 from you, and will be installing it as soon as I get the ALG EMR rail.
