  1. Maybe I missed it. How did you get the gas tube in there after mounting and pinning the gas block? Did you forget and need to reinstall the gas block? Or does the Aero upper do something I don't know about?

  2. I only buy Ballistic Advantage barrels. I have a 16", 2 11.3" barrels, and will eventually buy a 12.5" Grendel, and 18" Creedmoor. The quality, accuracy and reliability is too good for the price.

  3. COMPLETE FAIL!!! You didn't pin AND WELD, your pinned, dimpled, loctited gas block. It's totally going to fail big time. One day you're going to pull the trigger and watch your gas block go 100 yards down range. Pin and Weld or it's going to fall apart.

  4. I have built 3 ARs and dimpled the barrels on all 3. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong because I can't seem to get the dimples to match the one that is already on the barrel. Yours look like I want mine to be like. I'm using colbalt drill bits but I can't seem to get deep enough or wide enough. What type of drill bits do you use?

  5. Really isn't going to make or break anything, but if you want to be precise, always use your torque wrench at a 90 degree angle when using an adapter or it will torque incorrectly

  6. I dont like how BA pins and dimples the block… completely unnecessary and it's a real screwball when they pin the block crooked like mine was and they swear up and down that it's straight after 2 trips to their shop… had it on my AP m5e1 and AP ended up swapping the barrel out for one of their SS barrels. they said it's at 100% now. THX Aero Precision for making it right!

  7. Great video Lonestar Patriot.  I enjoyed watching it and your other great videos!

In this video you showed in detail the installation of the lo-pro BA gas block.  You dimpled the barrel, loc-tited the dimples and then installed the gas block.  Honestly after watching, it got me concerned for a few minutes cuz I was sure I didn't have to go through all that with my soon to arrive two new BA Hanson 16" 5.56 performance barrels.  Then I watched BA's Clint Hanson install the same gas block and he said dimpling wasn't necessary.  And, in the comments section of his video this was reinforced – whew!  I am glad.  However, as was noted in his video comments, dimpling the barrel for the gas block won't hurt anything (it's just not necessary with their gas block design)
