OK, well if you’re like me, you often learn valuable life lessons the hard way! And if you like learning with ordinary people, like me, and not some self professed Guru, then join me on this Vlog and my shooting channel to have some fun and learn a whole lot along the way. In this case I’m trying to help others learn from my mistakes and provide some ‘reason’ to why scope rails sometimes come loose even when Loctite was used. Also on this Vlog I’ll swap out the Konus scope with a Nikon Slug Hunter on my CVA Accura muzzleloader.

  1. Great start to your new channel. One thing I do when mounting scopes is to lap the rings. I've not a had a issues with rings coming loose since. I use the blue Loctite in the chap stick form. No mess. Two things I can't stress enough is to use proper gunsmith screwdrivers/ torque bits and most importantly is to use a torque wrench. Looking forward to seeing more content from your new channel.
