Folks this is REAL. I’m no shill….I had purchased a Vortex optic; put it on a rifle then was shipped overseas. I finally get home, go out and for whatever reason the optic was destroyed by the recoil of the rifle….Vortex sent me a brand new optic as soon as they had received the other one. NO QUESTIONS ASKED. I want to add for the record that Vortex sent me an optic different than the one I was using. I immediately called them back. I spoke with Ben in Customer Service and no sooner did he listen to me about my life overseas he had already entered my information for an upgraded optic! I’m telling you folks! YOU CANNOT GET BETTER THAN THE VORTEX VIP WARRANTY!

I actually had this happen with a Weatherby Vanguard. New rifle just blew up in my face for no reason.
Crazy vortex has a better warranty then brands like trijicon and night force. Unlike trijicon I love knowing if I buy a used vortex scope off someone I still get the lifetime VIP warranty

Wow! This guy was L U C K Y !!! Well after being unlucky at first!! And no idea of the exact cause of the rifle blowing up. I'm also curious if his $2000 Custom Rifle was replaced under warranty!! Amazing that Vortex replaced that expensive Scope that was completely destroyed by the owner and no fault or defects by Vortex. Now that's a VIP warranty! Anyway, I also experienced that vaunted Vortex warranty for simpler problems where I had Optic parts replaced no questions asked and immediately shipped free and delivered to my front door within a few days of the initial contact with Vortex! I am currently the proud owner of NOW 4 different Vortex Optics that have been working flawlessly for 2 to 5 years now!! I am waiting to purchase another Red Dot Sight for a new build I'm working on and still buying accessories for, but I'm now hooked on the Circle/Dot/Dot reticles (auto on/off a must) after acquiring one, and hoping Vortex comes out with one soon! I don't even want to look elsewhere, but once you (I) go Circle/Dot/Dot you never go back! Instant acquisition under virtually all conditions and backgrounds!!
Incredible company let me tell you my story I went to the range was a windy day and my tripod was faulty long story short the rifle was knocked over and got a little bit scratched at that time I did not know about the warranty I just wanted to fix that so I sent my scope in.
Vortex sent me a brand new scope.
There's nothing like vortex anymore.
It's all about sell and forget.
I wish worked at sold other things.
I stand firmly behind vortex.
I wish I had a VORTEX shirt to wear and I would wear it proudly.
And that's why I'm about to buy a Vortex scope for my new rifle. Just hope it doesn't go bang like this unfortunate fellows did !
Love vortex's warranty. Already had a venom replaced with in a week. And the fact that their Canadian hq is 5 mins from my house is awesome. Just dropped it off then picked the new one up

The scope that was damaged was painted or Cerekoted which I thought automatically voids the warranty. Is that correct?

Why would you tell this story and not tell who built the gun and why it exploded. If you say you don't know why it exploded you're lying.

You cant beat vortex, great products for the money with a awesome wn. I have scopes, redots, and binoculars from them and love them all. I bet this guy now has a 6k long range rifile and the best scope vortex makes with the hush money he got from his builder.😁

Spend $2000 on a gun that would Aloha Snackbar in your face, but at least the glass has the best warranty ever. Fair trade.
The bolt and safety on that wooden stock rifle looks like belong to Sako rifles… If im not mistaken
