  1. Yea Idk where you shop but the average around my area is about $15 a box of 20 for decent brass ammo. I buy in bulk 1k rounds at a time and its still about $320 per 1k during good internet sales.

  2. I dont know how to strip it down but Ive been shown how to properly clean it with out having to brake it down.

Ill make a video of how to clean it out. I got these instructions straight from CMMG when I was getting 3 shot bursts from the kit. Fixed it right up been flawless ever since.

  3. The magazine fits tight it won't chamber a round and is really hard to remove from the magazine well. But I think I know what the problem is. Their are 2 small raised sections on the back of the magazine. A guy on another channel told me to sand them off. I think that will take care of the problem.

  4. @mrmidnight32 roger, understood. if the strategy works for you, no need to change. fyi, with about 9k rounds of steel vs 6k brass shot, I've had 3 failure to fire on brass, and 2 ruptured brass heads came right off (shell extractor needed). 0 failures to fire on steel and 2 ruptured steel cases when fired, still extracted when handle pulled manually. No damage to any rifle, chambers like new. it's 50/50 imho which is best but I use gov cut or heavy barrels all chrome lined easy to clean

  5. @LTGOneill Yea it does. Im cool with federal bulk from online.. Usually I shop palmetto or natchez online and get fair priced ammo IMO so im ok with it. I dont like to shoot steel case ammo in my AR seen too many horror stories with it with cases breaking off or build up and other stuff Id rather be safe and spend a little more and be comfortable with that than save few pennies and chance it and I have this 22lr so I just practice with this then shoot 5.56 every now and again easy on the wallet

  6. @mrmidnight32 Man that sucks.. non free state induced issues… check out tula or wolf steel case. Price fluctuates but aimsurplus, CheaperthanDirt or sgammo usually have a deal from time to time.. ammoseek dot com has a halfway ok search feature..

  7. @LTGOneill Average 5.56 in my area (SoCal) is about $15/$16 divided by 20 per box comes out to about $.70 to $.80 a round.

I usually buy ammo in bulk online and it comes to about $.30 a round but average boxes of 20 come to about $.70 a round. I havnt checked in AZ for a while havnt been to my cousins house for a while but I believe its the same over there too.

  8. @fatboyR6 From what I heard the CMMG mags are actually Black dog mags… I could be wrong but thats what I was told. I havnt felt the CMMG ones but the black dog mags are pretty legit. Super solid and really clean looking.

I like the "funky" look so I know which mags are my 22lr and which are my 5.56 mags if I ever have to pull it out for home defense or something in a panic. You can also get them in black and they sort of look like regular mags but I went for the smoke.Id defiantly say buy it.
