Great light ! Mine has been great
Do these have momentary on with partial push of the button?
You can also just take the end cap off, and smash the light down on a fresh pile of feces (any animal) and then carefully screw the cap back on (make sure to get the little fecal remains off the threads or it may not want to screw back on easy) now you have a methane powered green light! Not sure if streamlight intended for this, they haven't responded to my emails yet. Will let you guys know what they say soon as they reply.
Does 14500 can power this light?
Ive had this light for years its a beast and the option of either battery is a plus i do keep the cr123 for output but would use a AA if needed
A medium mode would be more usefull than strobe
Absolutely agree on the importance of a recessed button. One too many times have I drained a battery and not known it until I needed to use the light. The dual fuel option is also nice. Options are always good as you might not be able to find a CR123 but you can find a AA just about anywhere.
I hate CR123 batteries…size to power ratio is crap…better to have a dual AA/14500 light…
I want more than one of these.
Would love to see you review Sunwayman. I have a couple and have been running them for about 4 years now. Most are also dual fuel wich is the reason I first purchsed myself 👍 Love the Channel! Keep up the Great work.
I love streamlight and I also like my flashlight to always start on high. I use a flashlight for lots of light! I almost never use low modes. The usb micro stream is my ultimate edc flashlight
Double loop-over pocket clip??? No way!!! Wait a second… Didn't another manufacturer already come out with that a while ago… Oh.. That's right… Olight… Still… A nice flashlight if you can't afford the real thing…
Been using this light for over a year. I can vouch for it. Solid light.
I picked up two of these on sale last week. Love it!
One of my favorite EDC lights
I run this on a LifePo4 cr123 rechargable. Have been using this light for 1.5 years!! BRILLIANT
Streamlight all the way !!!!!!!! Awesome EDC flashlight Aaron.
I carry this everywhere.. love this light
Just bought one!!
Streamlight is good no doubt but Olight is raising the bar in flashlights.
Check out monster flashlights. I have been running them for 4 yrs
This light has been part of my every day carry for the last two years or so after carrying the protac 2L for about 3 years before that. The 1L is my favorite light that I own because it ticks most of the boxes, and mine tail stands fine. I own several olights, Fenix, and nite core lights, but I keep coming back to the 1L. If only streamlight made it rechargeable and had a 0.5 or 1 lumen extra low mode, it would be my ideal light.
I have had one for two years and it is a great flashlight and hands down my favorite and my edc
They don't say it will do it, but mine runs on a single AAA battery as well, if you are careful.
Will it take RCR123 batteries?
I was excited about this light and bought it, but in the instructions they state to not use RCR-123 (rechargable) batteries. So, that was a deal-breaker, and I returned it and got an Olight
Thank you for the review, great format as always! This one isn't one that I feel I need, but I enjoy looking at the different options available.
