I have a Savage 1899 and an Enfield 303. I am going to be hunting warthogs in Africa what do you recommend for a beginner like me. I'm totally new to guns. Also do red dots and scope universally fit on rifles? If not what type do I need for my guns? Thanks
question- home defense maybe 10 yards do people need any sight on a weapon to put shots on target, not the second button from the top of shirt but on target
How about a double barrel 12 gauge shotgun For home defense. Don’t need a laser or scope
If you need a sight in your house, you're dead! Point and shoot to be effective and expeditious. I use an 1-4 bushnell 223 on my ar. it does have a flashlight/laser.. Effective from zero to 150 yards. You seem to suggest that 2 ar rifles are necessary and yet I put my faith in a bedside 45 acp and one ar for distance.
What is the top gun?
Just bought my first rifle, a S&W M&P 15 Sport II, and looking at what's out there.. What do you all think of the Crimson Trace MVF-515?
So at about 30 to 40 yards on a 22 would this be better or worse then a regular centerfire scope
I’m getting a new deer rifle scope and was thinking about putting the one on their now on my ar
Did you cut down the front post sight on the lower AR in this video? or is that an adaptor you can purchase?
This video is should come with a disclaimer that it should be fitted for 40 year old sitesthat
Excellent info
Great video !!!
Go 2.5-10x riflescope with canted reflex sight or flip ups
Red Dots and magnifiers?
just get an illuminated scope with adjustable power. problem solved.
What scope is that?
what kind of rail do you have on the carbine? do you like it?
thank you. answered the questions i had about what i truly needed "around the house"
Between a Red Dot and a Laser Sight for home defense. Which would be better?
and the price
People who use a red dot for home defense can purchase a separate 3x magnifier to put behind it to provide greater range (i.e. to use it outdoors). These magnifiers provide a lot of flexibility, especially if you already have a red dot set up on your rifle. Vortex make a great 3x magnifier for about $169-189.
Be aware that the eye relief is not great with the external 3x magnifiers, consequently they work better on rifles with collapsible stocks.
just put a red dot on top of a rifle scope
Great video man. Can you explain to me why there are different types of red dot sights and scopes?
Clearing houses red dot. Battle rifle 1-6x or 3-9x simple or have 2 rifles one mid one close range but I'll go with a 3-9x use my pistol for close range. Nice video
I am in bit of a doubt between a red dot and a 3x vortex spitfire. I will shoot at a gun range of 100m (110 yards).
On the other hand I would like to have my gun ready for the worst case scenario. I have read that in wars most battles are between 50-60 yards. So for that kind of scenario should I get a red dot or 3x scope?
Thank you.
Very informative video. Great Job

Thanks for the videos. Is Red Dot good for 150 feets targets with a 22 rifle ?
