Just a little night time footage testing the Streamlight TLR-1s mounted to the rail of my Glock 19.

I currently have this light on my 870 for home security use. I will continue testing the TLR-1s as time goes on to see how it holds up, and report back in future videos.

  1. After probably 500+ rounds through my relatively new Glock 19 Gen 4 MOS, I have had only one malfunction. I was eager to test out a new box of Liberty Civil Defense 50g that I was finally able to locate in stock, and the very first round had a light strike due to a recessed primer just like that. To be honest, I had a brain fart trying to figure out what to with an unfired 2000 FPS +P round I had just ejected, but at no point did I think a pocket on my person was a good place for it.

  2. Hey brother, after shooting with this light, how much gsr if any did you notice on the light. I recently purchased this light (TRL-1s) and was semi concerned since the light sticks out further than the muzzle on the G19, which I will be putting it on. Any help would be great

  3. Next time you get a light primer strike or a bad round don't hold it or put it in your pocket. It can still go off! It probably won't go off, but better to be safe then sorry. I wouldn't want that round going off in my shirt pocket. Love the G19 btw, I have one myself.

  4. @Cr0cket20 If it is a Gen 2, you could send it to Glock for a "overhaul" and ask them to replace the frame. It would cost you about a $100 to replace the frame. You would retain your original slide and barrel.

  5. @Cr0cket20 Don't sell it. Just save and buy another. A used one from someone u know or a reputable dealer. I bought my G23 from a police supple store who had traded an L'E' agency thier G23's 4 G22's. So the G23's came from an L.E. agency who hardly ever fired them. Holster wear on the finish, but solid otherwise. Had night sight and a few other amenities. Got a great deal. And they usually sell to civilians.

  6. LBS,

If you r considering a mid-sized Glock w/light for concealed carry, it will b extremely difficult, if not impossible to conceal w/o printing. I tried with my G23. And BTW, I thot u were getting away from 9mil. Nothing wrong with it, just know that you switched from the G26 to the G27. My 2 favorite off concealed carry are my 23 (w/o light) & 27.
