SHOOTING COMPARISON fieldpod vs tripod

Doing a lil shooting demo between the fieldpod and tripod. This is showing what you cold expect from both in a hunting scenario or just shooting at the range.. These aren’t super high dollar rest either. These would do well while hunting, but to really fine tune and zero a rifle, I’d use something a lil more sturdy. These are worth their purchasing. You will get your moneys worth out of them. The heat waves are what is making the target look like its shaking. Thanks for watch’n!! Please comment, rate, share and subscribe!!

  1. Here's my thoughts, 1st what's some high dollar name for other deadshots, and "application"… It may not be the best thing for a powder burning mule kicker like that, but for all small and big bore air rifles..this is a dream come true for the "giggly" shooter or when true placement counts when you have ALOT less power.. What your gun shoots is something like 3000ft pounds at the muzzle and velocity is about 1500-2000ft per second where air rifles depending on caliber is at the muzzle 12-500ft pounds and for hunting rifles 700-1500 ft per second and hardly much more of a kick than a .30 carbine in the larger calibers.. Finding this saved me from trying to macgyver something from a camera tripod, lol…I am super happy to find this thing…. But the squirrel and rabbit sure won't be!!!!

  2. Looks like a 'dead heat',…Oooo that's a lousy pun, sorry didn't mean that one ( haha) But I can't help but wonder if the temperature was more reasonable,.what kind of results would you have ? Wouldn't it be better to sight in the rifle with something like the Tipton Best Gun Vise ?
I know how to settle this,…..for me at least,…buy both of these rests.
    Thanks for the video.

  3. I have never hunted wild game to include rabbit squirrel or anything larger that cooperated enough to hang around in the right spot while you set up a tripod and shooting frame. A forked stick is about as complex as I have been able to use. I have used fence posts and old car fenders or boat rails for rifle rests. any of those required me to control the stock end and regulate my breathing to be accurate. The rest was the rifle and ammunition.
