EOTech EXPS3-0 is great. Aimpoint T-2 is also a nice choice.

The Aimpoint T-1 we use at work hold up well to abuse, but the brightness dial doesn’t have tactile clicks and can get bumped to a brighter/dimmer setting without knowing about it until you go to shoot, and the red dot definitely comets like crazy.

The Elcan SpecterDR also has amazing glass and can be used as a red dot on 1x power with the ability to quickly go to 4x power for longer shots with the BDC. Built like a tank…and about the same weight as a tank.

Don’t ACOGs require a MRDS since they don’t have 1x magnification? They’re great optics and definitely battle proven, but not for me with the extra $500 for an MRDS.

The MRO is bad news. Horrible parallax issues in the Green Eyed Tactical study.

I think you should've narrowed down the list to manufacturers, not specific models of the optic. And that is because you left out some list-worthy optics, being (in my opinion), the Trijicon RMR or the Elcan SpectreDR of any models. These have super proven themselves. I think you should've mentioned the manufacturers to include more on the list. Just a suggestion for future. Not trying to be a douche..

It doesn't really matter if e-otech has fixed the problem now. The the problem existed according to the multiple cases they lost for some time and the company was fully aware of the issues, all the while putting potentially defective optics in the hands of those who protect us. Due to this disrespect I am on aimpoint/trijicon for life.

I think there are too many red dots on here, I think the ACOG is number 1, followed in 2 by the ELCAN, and them the EOTECH that he has listed as 1.
