what kind of ammunition were you using
In this part 3 video, it appears that the mags are no longer self-ejecting. Was this actually the case, or were there drop-outs not seen in the video? Was this corrected simply by using the aluminum lower, or did it require further fab work in the mag well/mag release area? Many thanks for the time you spent sharing this building experience!

So moral of the story is go with a purpose built proprietary 9mm carbine or pistol?
Even though we all like giving Savage shit about his "gunsmithing", I would like to see more of these types of videos. Maybe even the gun refurbishing that Savage keeps talking about. The gun community is full of the latest and greatest wis-bang gadgets, but sometimes it's nice to see more budget options.

Dang that sucks. Definitely go with hardened aluminum T7075. I've always been afraid of polymer lowers since the beginning when they were cracking and breaking.
