PSA Gen3 9mm PCC is a cut above anything they’ve produced prior. Feed Ramps in the chamber with a 1-10 twist, 16 Inch Barrel this 9mm Carbine Performed without any malfunctions with Round Nose Ammunition. We will have an accuracy test down the road, but for now here is my initial assessment of this PSA Gen3 9mm PCC. Here are the Specs:

Barrel: 16″ chrome moly steel barrel, chambered in 9mm (9×19) with a 1/10 twist rate. The A2 profile barrel is nitride treated for durability and finished off with a Palmetto State Armory 13.5″ Lightweight M-Lok free-float rail and an A2 birdcage style flash hider. The barrel is laser engraved with “9MM 1:10 PSA PCC CHAMBER” because it has been optimized for use in Pistol Caliber Carbine competitions.
Upper: Billet 6061-T6 A3 AR slick side upper is hard coat anodized black for durability. These slick side upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.

As a point of clarification, we make 9MM lowers that work with Glock style magazines, and we make 9MM lowers that work with Colt style magazines. The same lower will NOT work with both. It is an EITHER/OR situation. Not a one size fits all. Hope that helps.

So how did it run? I have a psa 9mm stripped lower o bought a while back. I’m trying to decide if I should build a psa 9mm carbine or go with a Ruger 9mm carbine or a kel etc sub2000. This will be used for steel challenge. Getting sick of all those pcc guys winning.
Just ordered the same complete upper from Palmetto yesterday. Looking forward to testing it out later this week.
Also do you have the item number for the gen 3 ? I can't seem to find the complete carbine on their website.

Now that is a sweet piece. I built a tiny Colt mag Ar 9 pistol with a standard lower and mag block. This would appear to be one I actually buy complete.

I know whats coming next. AR9 pistol. They are addictive. And the cost of ammo makes it fun all day long. I recommend 8"-11" put a SB Tactical brace on it and it will be your favorite gun to shoot. Great review. PSA rocks.

Do you think cmmg’s 9mm delayed blowback Barrel/bcg would work with PSA’s billet lower? I thought about doing a frankenbuild to keep the cost down and get the positives to eventually suppress. Thanks! God bless RWB
