I like recoil' it may sound strange 'but for me it lets me know I got some power in my hand !
If you have the gun tight into your shoulder it won't hurt as bad. Imagine someone pushing on you vs punching you with the same force.

It hurts because you're hunched over the gun. Sit lower or bring the gun up so you can mount it more upright, that will let your torso dissipate the recoil more effectively.
you're shooting rifled slugs from a rifled barrel shotgun?…that's not preferred, because you'll have a ton of lead in there…rifled slugs go down smoothbore barrels…only sabot slugs should be going down that bore…Nice gun, I hope to get a 212 soon…I use to have a 395 chopped to 20", but the bolt gave up the ghost…and parts are extremely hard to find
