I'm always day dreaming about ways to make lead free handgun ammo. Why don't we use exotic metals like bismuth titanium or work hardened copper with a bimetal tmj or a work hardened copper penetrator backed by a titanium or bismuth core there's so many metals not listed by the atf tho they would be expensive to use. I understand that work hardened metals are brittle but the can be worked around.

For the life of me, I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY CMMG would ship a nice rifle with POS MAG like a PROMAG magazine. The 5.7 x28 is a vicious round. Don’t listen to internet armchair warriors. The 5.7 produces wicked wounds as I have seen them first hand in the ER. Definitely sufficient to do the job.

The mag issue is a sticking point on this. Seems like it's ill conceived to bet your products success on a crappy magazine. Or on a great one that is difficult to find in numbers. I'd rather just go with the ps90.

Awesome that you got ahold of one too!!!! One of the first reviews out, awesome stuff as always. Glad CMMG gave you some love. Never owned anything from cmmg but they do look very nice. Only problem is the mags with this one I would say, otherwise a very cool platform.
Great review. I am sharing. This looks like a wonderful addition to the 5.7 offerings. I would like to see someone offer a 5.7 rifle with a heavy barrel and optimized for a scope for varmints. I don't know if this might extend the range but only having the hardware will allow us to answer the range and accuracy limitations of this cartridge.
