  1. I like the 2.5or3x for CQB. BUT I am thinking of going with 5x and mounting a Vortex Venom 6MOA Dot on top for Very CQB with ability to got to 5x instantly . . .Sounds like ideal set-up for Combat Weapon. Has anyone out there tried this kind of set-up, OR, Anyone have any ideas or suggestions along this line ? ? ? Thanx in advance for any feedback ! MrGnG->Love your "Real World" vids and your FB alerts on Killer Deals…Keep it up !

  2. Can't wait for the GenII review! Did you already order one to test it? Also, as you tried all these optics, what would you recommend ACSS red dot + magnifier or fixed 3x ACSS + mini red dot on top? (or maybe which is better for which use.) Thanks a lot for your vids. You have always great music choices!

  3. So which would you recommend more for a semi-light weight, close to mid-range rifle, the 3x prism or a 1-6 raptor? I don’t know which optic to choose or which works better with back up irons.

  4. The theme music that makes you feel ready to take on the world <3

Just picked up a RAS-47 and am thinking of putting this on there along with the Vortex Venom on a 45 offset. Awesome review!

Now stop reviewing gunsngear so we can stop wanting to buying gunsngear.

FWIW, 3x has gotten me out to 700yds no problem on an AR-15. And 3x is plenty enough for work a bit closer. 5x would be great with a red dot to go on top or beside it.

  5. If you had to choose would you go with 3x or 2.5x for a 10.5" pistol build? I was worried the 3x would look a little big on a pistol build, what do you think? I have the 3x 7.62 version on my ak and love the big outer cqb ring, is the 2.5x reticle and ring the same size as the 3x?

  6. So I'm new to optics and I have both a 5.45 and 5.56 rifle. If I wanted to switch this scope between the two, would there be any problems (besides maybe rezeroing for barrel length or what have you)??

  7. I have this Scope on order and should be delivered two days. For the money I am expecting a great battle scope to mount on my AK. I ordered the 3X and the two piece RS Regulate Mount from AK Operators Union Local 47-74 called the "Goat Fucker" Hunting Combo Pack – Annihilator / 7.62 Version for $410.00. I have not found a bad review of this scope after a week or more of viewing and reading reviews.

  8. Deciding between purchasing the 2.5x or the 3x. Since its winter now I shoot alot at 50yrds since thats how far the closest indoor range to me goes out to. Would like the added .5x magnification for when the weather gets better but what would be your advice between the 2 at 50yrds? Already have a nice red dot so not looking to buy another one of those just yet.

  9. Dumb question… You said "apply locktite to these screws" … I see two vertical screws going into the optic and two larger horizontal screws for holding it in place on the rail. My assumption is you mean the two horizontal ones for the rail. But I want to be sure….. Do I need to unscrew and apply locktite to the vertical screws as well?

  10. From a durability standpoint, how do these compare to an ACOG? I'd love to get an ACOG but have a hard time swallowing the $1K price tag. Primary use is for open range/SHTF scenario.
