Ive been looking for a EDC Flashlight, almost got one for a higher price in store. Thank god for amazon.com, half the regular price. Can't wait for mine.! Great video!
I have this light and it is one of my favourites as well. Very nice look and feel. Very pocketable. Have you ever tried using a 18650 battery with this light ?
i love those batteries. they don't corrode inside the light and i think they have something crazy like a 10 year shelf life. its well worth the money in my opinion to have your light work when you need it. great review man.
Total length of the lanyard I use measures finished after the knot from the bottom of my palm to the top of my thumb. It doesn't pull the clip off either, the clip on this light is surprisingly durable, I have not been able to break or misshape it during use and I carry my light every day. Great light. It can also be programmed to exclude functions like the strobe. See Streamlights sight for that info. I keep it as it's a "you never know" function for self defense.
For EDC/Self Defense I added a simple lanyard w/ a bead. Just a knotted paracord loop with bead slid over it. The lanyard is attached under the clip bead snugged to the clip. This should be just slightly larger than the width of your palm about an inch before your thumb. The bead will allow you to snug up the lanyard on your hand where measured. While actively carrying your light it lets you quickly swing your light in and out of your hand with out losing it.
I have one and I love it I use it every day. The light is strong and the strobe disorients you like it's supposed to. The pocket clip is great and I like how it snaps on an off. It's does get real hot if it stays on for more than two minutes. But it works well under water over all a great light I would recommend it to any one
Surefire is over price and for me are not very reliable. As a cop like many cops I use my flashlight to knock on doors to houses. I bought one surefire,a 6P Defender, in my career and never again it broke after about 2 weeks on the job. My Streamlight poly stringer LED has worked flawlessly for the past three years. I also have a Streamlight for my Glock and I use the PT-2L as my backup light encase I forget to charge my stringer.

The batteries you bought are actually made by panasonic but are streamlight branded

Can the flashlight take the rechargeable 18650 batteries??
Thanks!
