  1. I purchased one of these with 1 25rd mag. I have a ruger ar556 upper and a 14.5’ ballistic advantage pencil barreled home build chambered in wylde. Had a few hang ups in the first 100 rounds or so and I guess the problems worked themselves out it runs about 99% reliable now. But that 1% it doesn’t is probably due to cheap bulk ammo. Bought this for my 6 year old son so he could shoot the big guns lol

  2. I love mine I have had one for awhile now and I have left the bolt in my ar for about 3 months now and no problems love it. It’s a lot of fun and it is the only thing I run in one of my ar’s for fun plinking

  3. So you spend the money to go featureless In california. Why spend 200 on this kit? You have to either use it featureless, or change something so it's not. I have seen 22lr ar15 for as low as 350 new. Or cheaper around 200 used. Made sense before but not anymore. Just buy a rifle. Heck a 10 22 would be great. If you think I'm wrong look on turners website every day or two under used/consignment. Be patient you'll find one. 10 22 or ar15 or many other types. It's just not worth the trouble. Besides! You get another gun!! Oh. One more thing. You lose a lot of accuracy

  4. You expect us to believe it costs you hundreds of dollars to make a video? So you spend hundreds of dollars a week to make maybe 50 a week off of youtube? Smart decision…. kinda like living in cali.

    You must've inherited

  5. Might I also add great customer service. mine broke a year ago. I put it away and came across it earlier this year. Sent em an email and received a quick reply had a replacement part sent and received within a week. Put it back together and runs like a champ.

  6. I heard from my local FFl that you still have to use a mag lock since the upper can fire center fire ammo. You have to use an upper that is dedicated to rimfire only and that cannot be made to fire a centerfire simply by changing the bolt carrier. I hope I'm wrong about this. Let me know.

  7. Tried one about 3 years ago and it would not work in my upper. No idea y. Just did a dedicated 22 lr upper. Sweet. Need to actually bench rest sight it tomorrow but it seems good

  8. I purchased these last year for my 19 Son and 24 Daughter. They both shoot their AR15 way more now and enjoy them more as 22LR than they did 223Wylde. It brings all the fun of shooting back to the AR15 with no concern about cost of ammo. We love them and because of the discount code provide, I just purchased a 3 round version for me! Thanks for the great (another) video. I am a native of SoCal and hate seeing what is happening to my state regarding guns. This convesrion makes so much posslible.

  9. Excellent review. I really wish they would make it conversion kit that would work with the forward assist and bolt catch release.

I do a lot of training in rainy weather and the burnt powder residue gets muddy in the rain. I have a lot of problems getting the chamber to close in the rain. The round will start to feed but won't go home all the way. The bolt catch release is also necessary for realistic training.

They should also make 30 round magazines. Umrex makes them but they break too easy if you drop them.

  10. I’m from California so I’m very interested vim this product but I didn’t understand what you meant when you said something regarding the bolt of some sort and that it doesn’t fit I can’t recall exactly. My question is if I purchase vtjis product will I have to replace any other items on my Ar to be able to use it in normal ar functions? Please answer my question before I forget about this product. I really like the vid and would like to buy soon.

  11. Love it. I have one too. The issue I had on mine was the top portion of rear back plate of the cmmg bolt housing would leave a mark on my ARs lower (at the opening of the buffer tube area). To resolve the issue I created a buffer on the cmmg bolt housing. Do you have the same issue as I had on mine?
