Recorded this video seconds after the UPS man dropped off my new EOTech XPS2-0 optic! I figured I would do a quick video showing me opening the bag/box (I cut out the box part just because it was me opening a box – big whoop! LoL) I slid out the bag and that’s all you are missing….

Shortest model sight yet! This sight is smaller than the former N-cell battery sight (511/551) and runs on a single 123 battery. It also has a longer battery life than the N-cell style sights. Smaller,lighter and always fast with three reticle options. With the new single battery configuration, the XPS allows more rail space than ever, leaving more room for rear iron sights or NV mount.
* Single transverse 123 battery to reduce sight length
* Shortened base only requires at most 2 3/4 inch of rail space compared to the 4 inch N battery sights
* Battery cap and latch are eliminated and replaced with a simple O-ring, tethered cap; better sealing is achieved
* Battery compartment is now separated from the base to allow it to hover over the delta ring of the rifle
* Average battery life at brightness level 12 is roughly 500-600 hours, 3X battery life of N cell sights
* Three reticle options: 0- 65MOA circle with 1 MOA aiming dot, 1-single 1MOA aiming dot, 2-65MOA circle with two 1MOA aiming dots
* Available in Night Vision (XPS3) and non- Night Vision (XPS2) versions. The numbers reflect the number of the buttons on the back of the sight.

You will still need to be wearing nighvision in order to see the IR beam or have a night vision monocular mounted to your rifle. This will be the same with EOTech, Aimpoint, Acog etc..
yeah thats what i was thinking well looks like ill be getting a nv acog instead, just dont wanna have to deal with goggles.
Are you asking about if you will be able to see the peq16 through the NV Compatible EOTech? No, you will still need to be wearing NV goggles to view the peq16 if its in UV thats view-able in NV. The NV Compatible EOTech works with night vision and allows it to be viewed better through the NV.

very very nice….this is the one i want or the 512. its goin on aDD with a 10" rail and troy BUIS. So, my decision between the XPS vs. 512 is purely based on which one looks better on top of the gun and im havin a hard time deciding. I like the looks of the XPS better but im wondering if it would look right with that much extra rail i will have. IDK
@ARBuilder1776 yea, that is def a problem with ups, u can specifically leave them instructions to wait for a signature thought, something to keep in mind, is ups replacing it?
@ARBuilder1776 Oh wow, that would suck!! UPS left it at my doorstep but I heard them ring the bell so I wet out and picked it up(I was home). I didn't leave it there long enough to get stolen. Hope they made it right for you!

The only thing is, it wont stop there you will want to get the magnifier

@bwright79 funny man, Alot of people like to see what comes in the box when you get it off your door step. So I showed it to them….
But if EOTech wants to have me model for them and give me free EOTech stuff (I'd go for a new eotech magnifier) LOL then sure!!! haha
Picked it up from Botach and it was around $350 after rebate and without shipping MSR is $509 – they were offering a "Stimulus" code that took off 15% on top of their already low price.
However I was unhappy with my next order with them so I am on the fence if I will be ordering anything from them again. I hear unless you order High valued Items they don't treat you as well as other places. But thats just what I have heard.
