i see that you clicked the switch right away and the light didn't come on. DUH!!!
U needed to check polarity of the 2 wires before putting light all back together.
And to others I was able to make this lamp module fit in my sl20 xp led . it took a little effort to modify, but woiks great
will this work with a Streamlight 20xp LED? the only reason I'm asking is that I have a bunch of these and I have bought a couple new batteries just to keep them alive if there were an LED upgrade this still might be a viable flashlight to carry even in 2017 but all of mine are the 20xpled instead of the 20 X LED as far as I know the only difference is a polymer case versus aluminum but you would be the expert on this I think any help would be much appreciated thanks
