My thoughts on the newer C4 LED Streamlight Stylus pro. The older ones have been in and around the X4CTO household for years and they’re loved and used a lot, so how does the newer one stack up?

I got myself the new Streamlight Stylus Pro with the "C4 LED" months ago and it's holding up nicely. I have to say the upgrade from the original 24 lumens without completely ruining the initial design is great. I've had the light for about 5 or 6 months and it's still functioning very well. Best light I ever owned. Don't know much about lights but I knew enough to choose a good one out. I was mostly debating on whether to get this or the Streamlight Microstream. Both are really good. I EDC the Stylus Pro with my Ontario RAT 1 and Ontario Utilitac 2. Thanks for the video.

Nice to see one thing upgraded without totally ruining the things ppl love about it. every time i go to order some shit i always forget to include one of these i think it would be a nice light to have around. But tbh i neglect my flashlight purchasing in favour of an extra knife or two like every time. that pretty much leaves me with either my fenix ld20 (excelent light) or my ledlenser d19 (decent) with no options inbetween. Keep meaning to pick up a ledlenser f1 aswell but its a little intimadating because cr123's arent regularly avalible here so if i ran out i couldnt just walk into a store and pick some up id have to keep a large enough store of them and for me keeping enough AA's and AAA's around is difficult enough lol.

You could try an put some vaseline or gun oil on the threads to silence it and help protect the rubber o-ring.

I love streamlight, no BS, just simple and well made. I do hate how they always say "C4 led" even thought its a XPE, XPG, XML, Rebel or Nichia LED. C4 just means the led is thermally soldiered to the circuit board/body.
Take a look at the PD35, it's just great!
Sure, I may have gotten a Preon 2 for xmas. But, after seeing this, I think there is room to add a Stylus Pro.
