the cmmg mags work pretty well, i have 2 of the 25 round cmmg mags and 2 black dog 14 round mags. and as long as you keep the bolt clean and oiled it should work well for you, but dont over oil it. like i said the first couple hundred rounds were so-so to get it broken in and i probably have over 1,000 through it now and it works great, in some of my videos im rapid firing with no problem, you'll enjoy it!
It got good reviews everywhere I looked and it was the price range I was looking for. I saw a lot of mixed reviews about Chiappa and it was cheaper than Spikes and Tactical Solutions. Since I was going to mount optics, I didn't want a front sight, but still wanted the option to, so I got the taller gas block. should work well if I go with some Magpul Back-up Sights
nice purchase. what made you get this particular upper? can't wait to see it in action.
thanks for the info. Do you have any recommendations on good magazines for it?
I've got a few videos of my cmmg .22 upper on my channel, I really like it! The first couple hundred round I would get some feed problems or stove pipes but its been perfect ever since
same here! it's too bad most of the ranges (indoor) don't allow cameras, or I would have shown some of my stuff in action.
Look forward to seeing how well it works.
