Everyone asks where I find AR-15 stuff in stock or where I order from, so here you are:
I share my experience with using the 80 Percent Arms AR-15 Easy Jig to complete my 80% AR-15 lower receiver. Overall, it was a very fun and rewarding process and I recommend it for anyone to try. If I can do it, you can too.

Seems fun but with how cheap lowers are now I won't bother messing with making one
I’m definitely doing this, I want an armory 🤣😂🤣👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Regarding the problem you had with the end mill "pulling" out of the router collet on your final pass, you may have very well not tightened it down enough, but it is also good practice to wipe off the end mill shank and inside of the collet with de-greasing solvent. Even a little oil on these surfaces can cause the end mill to pull out while milling the pocket. Especially new collets, which are often coated with cosmoline. Just a little something I learned as a machinist.
I've worked with aluminum for over 20 years, and I'll give you a tip. Cutting oil tends to gum up with aluminum. The best thing to use is dish washing liquid and water. Mix it about a teaspoon of dish washing liquid to half a gallon of water. The soap & water will lubricate just as good as tap magic but won't bog down
WD-40 makes a good lubricant for aluminum
Hey I got everything needed to do this and was wondering how load was this entire process? I live in an apartment building and unfortunately I have neighbors lol
I’m writing a paper for school on politician lies. Some of my studies lead me here. What is the actual purpose of doing this? Other then it just sounds bad ass to build my own gun from scratch?
great video. as to the "why" question people ask: personal satisfaction of having a hand in building something, not just buying or putting pieces together. #builtnotbought
Could someone direct me please to the documented reading material where it says building an unregistered AR15 is not against the law (so as long as its "you" doing it and youre not selling it). Just covering my ass
You never show a good shot of the inside of the lower. So what if you slipped up a little a couple times. It wasn’t nothing drastic. The whole point is to see what the finished product looks like on all sides not just the side of it.
Did you have any issues since you went a little crooked when starting with the big holes? I have one hole that went just a bit crooked
I think the tyrants in government will make this illegal soon so you better buy as many as you can.
Can you legally build an AR pistol with a 80% lower?
This seems so much more complicated than my 5d Tactical jig, only have to drill one starter hole and the rest is using a router with no worries of hitting the jig with your end mill.
could've used hss bits instead of titanium. you're drilling aluminum not mild steel
Download these vids people, pretty sure YouTubes new rules make these vids not allowed
I used the 80% arms jig. Very good product. Highly recommended.
Good vid. Very helpful.
Glad to see this video here, but didn't YouTube just ban any videos that show how to manufacture firearms?
You have an amazing wife! I am not saying this because my wife is any less amazing, she has saved me from death 3 times so far. I'm a diabetic and my sugar has been as low as 27 and has high as 1580. For most that would be a death sentence. To find a wife that not only watches out for you but shares your desires is hard to do today. Great Video and information.
You have a good wife, mine would do the same.
I'm not gonna Screew it together, you get the idea……..
.5 seconds later…
once you Screew it together….
Not making fun….
After a super hectic day, for some reason that shit was hilarious…
Good video,
your drill was in reverse when you were drilling it out LOL
how do i download before they ban these videos?
Or just spend $60 on a finished lower
why too many steps
Gene Stoner was an effing GENIUS.
Thank you for sharing.
Good video.
Ton of talking, no real video of you doing the work and the only thing I really took away was your Wife had to help you a lot……
Machinist Tool and Dye Maker for years. I alway use alcohol as coolant when cutting aluminum
Lots of work 🙁 I rather work on stamp steel for AK lowers . It's much more easier than this .
Nothing makes you love more a milling machine than videos like this.
Great Video!thanks for uploading.
Jesus Christ… here I thought It would be a lot easier to do this. Guess I'll just hang on to it unfinished as a future investment perhaps.
Need a Drill Press Vise !!!
If we are allowed to machine an 80% lower receiver into a 100% working lower receiver, why can't we machine finish an 80% silencer (suppressor) without having to pay a tax stamp and register the silencer?
How strong was the router you used? What would you suggest?
Your a bit of a weaning brother, when it comes to power tools, but great instructional video!!😀J.K. about the weaning thing bud, GREAT JOB!!
10:31 "Used some lube and went right to town on that" LOL That was funny. Great video though.
