  1. Seems like a great gun gun. CMMG products are a huge hit or miss in my book so time will tell on this one. I really kind of like that Slate two tone color. I'm a sucker for two tone color schemes, white/black, red/black, grey/black, and etc. I love the stock too, that preset screw is a real nice feature as it takes away that possible step of you not getting it to deploy to the right length of pull.

I finished my .300 Blackout a few moths ago, got a 10.5 inch barrel, got a PDW stock, a Mepro M21 reflex, and FAB Defense folding foregrip with room for a light to mount inside the grip. When folded, the grip acts like a hand stop but with a little more support kind of like an AFG so it's pretty solid for the build to me. Still waiting on the the paper work for the suppressor but otherwise it's good to go. I've got a 1:7 twist barrel on mine, and frankly anything 150gr or above at 50 meters, accuracy is lacking but I wouldnt be using anything in that weight range farther than that anyways, but 125gr and 110gr rounds I can easily get about 2 MOA at 100 and that is plenty satisfactory. I doubt I will ever shoot it over 200 meters, as it's primary purpose for me is going to be close range use inside the home or if things pop off.

  2. So, basically it's a 3 – 5 moa gun. Nice finish but apparently, poor barrel quality. CMMG, you guys need to go with a better barrel. Drop an FN barrel in there if you have to. Packaging is nice but accuracy is not up to par. Also, you should consider a longer barrel. Yes, 300 BLK can go to an 8" barrel, but it would be better as a 10" barrel at least. Check out the FN15 pistol. It has a 12" cold hammer forged world class FN barrel. As a range toy, it wouldn't matter so much, but as an SHTF or home defense rifle, reliability would be critical.

  3. Great review can't wait to own a 8" 300blk I like the Areo precision one. But CMMG AR's are assume like there Glock Mag AR pistols. Great seeing Christian is getting better and out in the range again. 😎👍
