  1. If you are using the 55 grain bullet and your bolt gun pushes that bullet at the recomended 3240 fps it should be great I am planning a build with a remington 700 sps 223 and one of these in the 4-16 with a nikoplex reticle

  2. @g3seifert To label an eotech or aimpoint as "BULL CRAP" is an ignorant statement to say the least. They were never designed to be a long range sight. They offer the fastest target acquisition possible. But, with 3x the magnifiers available they can easily shoot in the 300 yard range. I own both an eotech and an m-223. They both serve a purpose and are fun to shoot.

    holy shit.
are you arguing that i said that a 1:9 twist WON'T shoot a 62 gr ok?
i never said it wouldn't genius.
i said the SCOPE WAS DESIGNED FOR 55 GR.
therefore the point of impact would be different whe switching from 62 to 55.
because it is designed for the 55 gr bullet the mildot divisions will be accurate when firing the 55 gr bullet.
it will not be as accurate with the 62 gr bullet.
god fucking damn learn to fucking read.

  4. the real dealbreaker is that it isn't "for your ar", it is for "your dad's ar".
the m223 scopes are all optimized for the 55gr bullet. who the hell shoots that anymore from an ar?
sure you can swap complete uppers to shoot 55 gr instead of 62 but why spend the extra money ?
most people will do that to shoot 9mm or 6.8mm.
did nikon japan dream this up?
do they know the difference between 1:7 and 1:9 twist?
wow, let's run out to the store and re-barrel to use this scope!
