  1. Obviously that guy has no clue what he is talking about… CTD couldn't keep up with demand and it compromised with their customer service so they temporarily suspended online sales. That was almost a year now… Great review, I was considering this light and am now set on buying it, my only quibble is the barrel shadow do they make cantilever mounts for flashlights to negate this issue?

  2. It is LED. If you remember your high school physics class, light is an electromagnetic wave. The photons are energy and this energy when it is absorbed by matter (i.e. my hand) and it can be turned into heat regardless of the source. The heat was not really hot, but you could feel it. This is the same principle as a laser cutter. The laser device does not have to be "hot", but when the focus beam hits matter, that energy from the photons excited the molecules and the energy turns to heat. =)

  3. Nice review, I assume the light is not LED if it generates heat? Sharp rifle ,very nice.
I always assumed you were an elite tactical operator taking breaks to do youtube vids. The streamlight is a dead givaway that your just a guy who needs a light on his gun 😉

  4. Yes it is a lot, but most lights for sporting rifles are. Surefire's are $300 plus!

Any, yes, the light is matches the aimpoint great. As for activating it, it is really easy and yes there is a version of this light with a pressure switch. I just did not want it.

  5. Thats an expensive light!! also if your shooting distance at night does the beam match your aimpoint? also it looks like it would be awkward activating it, do they make pressure switches for it?
