Shooting a CMMG .22 conversion kit in a DPMS AP4 with 1:7 twist 16″ chrome barrel. 2 black dog mags and one gray mag supplied with the kit. The supplied mag jamed on first round feeding.

I used black dog in mine still jams.
Mine does nothing but jam.

hes probably just practicing inserting mags.
Sand the feedlips. It doesn't have anything to do with resting on the table.
@paperboy556 Have you found out how to fix the gray magazine? I have that one and mine has jammed ever since I got it. Do you know what I can do to fix it? Maybe sand the lips down?
I got the blued steel version of the CMMG conversion and I ahve the magazine that you were having problems with. Mine jams all the time and I was wondering if you think its the magazine.
They are 27 round mags.
It came with the kit from AIM surplus. It's the mag supplied by CMMG. It's not Black Dog. The problem is the feed lips are too long and the mag fits loose. It can rock in the well and cause the rear of the feed lips to get in the way of the bolt.
what brand of mag is the supplied grey magazine? black dog?
