This is a quick reveiw of my Bushmaster Optic Ready Carbine. I’ve made alot of upgrades to this rifle and I hope that you guys like what I’ve done. it has a magpul ctr butt stock, magpul asap plate, afg , miad grip, trigger guard and b.a.d.. It also has a PRI combat charging handle, aimpoint compC reddot optic, vltor casv midlength handguard and front sight, promag rearsight, with the A2 flash hider.91/2 pounds fully loaded

Did you have to switch out your gas block to install that handguard?
What hand guard did you fit it with
Now that I’m in a position to buy the Vltor CASV rail system and handguard they’ve disappeared from the listings at MidwayUSA, Brownells etc.
MidwayUSA offers one for the FN SCAR, I think, but for the AR15?

Any one knowing of a reputable dealer who carries them, I’ll pay for two and one is yours as a finders fee.

that's a nice rifle man! I hope it fetched a good knot for your pocket!! I don't see why people bash bushmaster. mine runs great with any ammo in 5.56 or .223. never had any malfunctions whatsoever, and I've put almost 1000 rounds through it in maybe 4 months.

how did you get the handguard over the gas block? Did you have to buy a new gas block?
is the stock on this gun a mil spec or commercial stock from magpul I don't want to but the wrong one

did you have to change the gas block to a low profile gas block to fit that forend? or did that one slip over the bushmaster gas block?

Did you hack off the bayonet, ring, POS ? Curious if you did this install of the VLTOR CASV yourself or is it a job for a gunsmith. I have the same platform and can't seem to figure out what free float I should get. Cool Vid, nice setup.

Love the ORC because Its so ready to customizes right out the box, I swapped my hand guard out for the American Built Arms MOD1, and a bunch of other little stuff. The ORC is a perfect place to start.

Wow! A mid sized foregrip? Does that mean the gas block isn't in the way to attach ANY length foregrip? Obviously it doesn't have a front sight so that isn't in the way- was the bayonet lug the only thing you had to cut off and was it easy? Great video and setup!
