The HK MP5SD is one of my all time favorite CQB Subguns… so I made an AR homage to it! Kind of the best of bost worlds…So here it is…Video of my Suppressed AR-15 9mm SBR build.
Here’s a parts list:
TrosUSA 5″ 9mm barrel, 3 lug
SWR Trident 9 suppressor
CMMG 9mm complete lower
RRA Upper Receiver
RRA Bolt
Yankee Hill Machine Knurled Free Float Handguard and Lock Ring, YHM Rail
PRI backup sights
Sightmark Reflex Sight
C-Products Magazines
That's nothing class 3. That's only title 2 firearms. Can or the sbr. Both are title 2
can a class 3 get revoked if you later become convicted of an indictable offence ?
I like that hand guard a lot. How did you attach the top rail to the tube? And what's the interior diameter of the tube?
Better than MP5SD? No it's not lol. Great SBR, but the H&K MP's are much better.
Cool gun, cool video and all but maybe next time you can tone down the profanity. Some of us use these videos to introduce gun culture to our children.
Have you considered using the battlelink minimalist stock? Looks similar to the MP% and a few ounces lighter to boot.
About how much did this rig cost
Come on' man? $1200 gun, $600 can, $400 in stamps, with a $10 red dot sight?
Just kidding, nice build!
Awesome, thanks. I have an almost identical setup and I think you have the perfect ratio of handguard to exposed suppressor.
Yes its the Carbine Length (YHM-9465-7)
Supposed to be a question mark there, sorry I hate this iPad lol
Is the YHM rail "carbine length"..
I'm so jelly
Right? Its a hard call for me since im such a diehard MP5 fan, but honestly I love this thing.. It's CQB worthy, very ergonomic, and hell it's fun..LOL
You may have built something BETTER than the Mp5SD ! Mags are cheaper, at least… Ever seen the baffle setup of the "Schalldampher?" (SD) It's as wierd and innovative as you would expect from H&K
Yankee Hill Machine
Can't remember off hand, all the info and screws come with the YHM rail
Also what kind of rail is it?
Thanx for the method info good sir… what thread size and screws did you use?
Sure! Just laid the rails on the installed freefloat tube, lined them up straight, taped them down, made my marks in the rails holes with a punch, removed the rails, drilled through my marked holes… then threaded them with the appropirate tap. PS use red locktite… the supressor gets hot and the screws will back out
Hey bro can you tell me how you drilled and tapped the forend?.. what did you use?
