One more question for you, Eric.
I realize that these will make cleaning rod length a bit more important to check.
My Ruger has a 22" barrel, and I'm intending to use a 36" rod with it.
With that rod, I'll have 14" of space to allow for your guide and solvent port, so I need to know how long the guide + port together will be.
As long as they're less than 14", I'm all set, but I just don't know without hard numbers.
Any answers?

btw…I also have a Marlin 1894 chambered in .45 Colt.
I tried to use the spreadsheet on your site, but I couldn't figure out what model of bore guide to get for it, if at all.
Any ideas?
