  1. I'm starting into my first 2 builds. For one of them I was considering a 20 inch or longer barrel for the simple reason of distance and accuracy. My question, is it worth it? You mentioned a 16 inch barrel for run of the mill general use and still reach out and touch somebody. Is an 18" barrel kind of a sweet spot, I don't know. I have bolt guns for hunting that reach way out, 400+ yds for a kill is not uncommon. I'd just like to see what this could do. What's your opinion.

  2. If you have a personality that is prone to addictions, I warn you, do not build an AR 15. I modified a DPMS that I bought from an individual. Then I modified my Armalite AR-10 and then I build my first scratch AR, then another, then another, then another. It's never just the rifle. It's red dots, offset or 12 o'clock BUIS and hand guard hand stops, holographic sights, lighted reticle tactical scopes and adjustable muzzle breaks. It's going from all black to FDE, or Red, Blue, Orange, multicolor. Looking for a 12 step program.

  3. Thank you very much, I appreciated every minute of this video. It was so informative for some one who is just trying to decide on there first AR-15. I am not a gun collector, or some one who hunts, how ever, I am looking for home defense and for fun/hobby. I always get to shoot with a few buddies who were and or are in the military and they let me try out there fire arms, but I forget to ask questions and more of having fun. I love video's like this. Hello from New Mexico.

  4. This is cool, Glad I found your video, After buying my first gun a year ago and buying a pistol is the next few weeks, I now cant wait to make the AR15 my third gun to own!
Witch leads me to a question if you don't mind, I want to make one for general use, like good at all ranges but not spec toward a certain range
Witch scopes and/or Sights would you recommend? Feel free to link any videos if you can't answer.

  5. I've shared this video with numerous folks who want to get into the AR platform but don't know where to start. Huge thanks for breaking it down better than I ever could!

  6. This was very helpful. I am looking into purchasing my first gun which hopefully will be an AR-15, but this definitely helped out. I was looking at ArmaLite M15LTC. What do you think or any other recommendations for a first time buyer?

  7. 8:51 #DisbandATF the 2nd Amendment is a reflection of our natural right to self-preservation. Especially against tyranny. And the 2nd Amendment IS your right to carry, open or concealed. Your rights don't end at the point of a pen. Your rights don't cease when a traitor in your government dictates so. No. Your right to keep and bear arms is inherent, within the very being you exist within. No government, no dictator, no president, no senator, no representative can repeal your right to have any gun in your possession. Exercise the 2nd Amendment. #2A
