A step by step build of a stripped AR lower receiver. For beginners on up we look at each step of the build, the parts, tool, and tips to not mess anything up. The lower receiver and parts kit are both Anderson. Leave comments. Hate comments are ok, too.

Thank you for making this very helpful video. I loved the "Don't lose your cool" comment you made early in the vid, Very good advice. I thought using the wooden dowel to drive in the pins so as not to mar the receiver was truly inspired. Keep up the good work!
WD-40 IS NOT used for install gun parts….(friendly remind…nothing..OK my friend..We just help each other to do better for our hobby!)
AT first you put in too far…should go only 6 turn…..I install over 10 parts like this so I knew….(magazine catch part)….
Your cat wants to inspect your work! Ha! Hey! Excellent vid and info! Yes!
^..^~~
Thank you very much sir, you definitely helped me through that. The A2 stock through me off but it’s together and I’m gonna test it out tomorrow. Main lesson I learned, make sure to have the proper tools.
As a word of advice in instruction videos..get to the instruction…it took over 3 and half minutes before you put the first part together.
You should copy over all of your videos to Gun Streamer and UGE before YouTube deletes them. Those networks have a feature where you can just enter your link and the files will be automatically copied over from YouTube. It would be a shame for this video to be lost because of YouTube censorship.
Nice try bro, but please don't quit your day job. I knew this was an amateurish build video when you took the parts that were separated in each colored bag and dumped all of them on the table! They package them that way for a reason. Then you tried to install the buffer tube with the stock attached, lol. People, there are lots of better lower build videos out there than this.
Great Video, I just did my first lower build using this video as a guide. I especially liked were you have a still frame of the parts required for each step. I would highly recommend this to anyone doing a build. The only criticism that I have is that I would do the trigger guard as one of the first steps.
There is a tool for about 7 bucks that makes installing detente and pin on catch super easy. Took me about 1 minute. Lol
Roll pin on bolt release pisses me off like you would not believe. HATE it.
Great sense of humor. Decent instruction. Wouldn’t hurt to mention the quality lowers to allow a lamen a reference.
2 questions: why split up the assembly of the firing group by putting the stock on before the hammer? Also, what is the purpose of the spring in the handle?
great video, one tip. longer screen time for part pictures haha. great vid tthho
WD is not good for guns!!!
Amazing video man, my dad and I built our lower about 2 hours ago and with this video it made it possible. Thanks.
The end groove should be on the left side of receiver with regards to the trigger pin.
Thanks for the video. Very user friendly! Keep it up!
Thanks for the video! Im about to attempt my first lower build, i hope Anderson lpk quality has improved in 2 years. BTW, they are called T-Handle allen wrenches.
This is an extremely thorough and well made video on completing a lower. Very well done. Thank you.
Great video and thank you for the aid! You helped my first lower go together very smoothly. (The only thing I had to do differently was to put the safety select lever in place with the trigger, otherwise the trigger wouldn't let it pass through.)
thank you
Great job on the video. The other vids (even from Anderson) are terrible with the camera angles and descriptions.
Terrible tutorial. Not detail oriented. Just quick go go go. Not recommended for anyone who actually needs help, not just a reminder if you're rusty.
Just for your information they're plenty of Allen wrenchs you can buy that will be plenty long enough
what if it's not possible to buy a receiver? … I also doubt that receivers can be internationally shipped either … I wonder, how could I make my own receiver from a chunk of metal … other parts of the weapon I suppose can be shipped, because there isn't a reason why they should be illegal, I guess
bought a complete Anderson Am 15 love it smooth. Shoots better than an m&p 15 IMO
what size punches do i need for the ar
the parts already came organized in the color coded bags, then you mixed them all up…
WD 40 is not a lube. it causes corrosion and tarnishing.
