Loved my AR Carbine so much I wanted to give an AR Pistol a try so I built one using an Anderson Lower and the Palmetto pistol lower parts kit with the SB Tactical SOB arm brace and their 10.5″ upper that came with BCG and Charging Handle. it Turned out pretty good and should make a great home defense AR with the proper ammo choice and would make a good hiking gun to. Anyway, enjoy the video and I’ll talk to ya’ll later.

Good info. Thanks for your time…
Looking at the same 10.5 barrel. Any problems FTF / FTE ? how is it holding up ?
I had to laugh when you said that little guy, meaning the 10.5 in pistol, could really shoot!
I said out loud to myself no, you can really shoot very well!
While I'm right there with you with the accuracy of the gun, it's the man or woman behind the trigger who can really make the difference!
You're a great off hand shooter and that's a fact!
I just ordered two Anderson lowers, at 30 bucks a piece, pre FFL fee, to do my first pistol builds!
I've never built an AR, but I'm looking forward to the process.
Because of the lack of funds, I'm also building the upper piece by piece, with El Cheapo parts, so I don't think I'm going to get the kind of accuracy that you have, and especially so considering the guy behind the trigger on my pistol!
I hope you don't mind me saying that I wish you would reposition a camera, I love the target camera, but quite frankly, the one behind you when you're shooting is just a large presentation of your posterior!
Switch it over to the other side so it a profile view that we get of you, rather than a posterior View!
Further, if your camera will allow it go with a lapel mic via a Bluetooth Link.
Once again, thanks for a great video, I learned a lot especially with the chronographs!
Take care and I'm subscribing!
What's the height of the red dot?
nice clean accurate pistol psa seems to be the go-to for an AR build on a budget.
Those little blocks are called Accu Wedges. They do take the wiggle out of it. You have a nice little weapon there. I think you were wise in changing out that grip. A lot of people don't catch the importance of that. You also have a good brass catcher (pick-up truck bed), if you reload or know someone who does. Good video.
What distance were enough zeroing at?
Hey D, what's that cost landed, not including the Vortex…. and what ammo are you shooting?
