Throwing lead, talking about the CMMG 22 caliber conversion kit. Nice way to practice if you want to save a dollar, and still get trigger time. Kit runs from 169-200.00 depending on where you buy, shop around. Thanks for watching folks.

  1. Hello, can you also use MP 15/22 mags when you are using converter kit in your "real" AR-15 ?
I got only one mag with CMMG kit, but seems that extra mags for MP 15/22 are more available around and cheaper

  2. All said and done, yes I would. I have heard that the newer cmmg kits in stainless steel are actually better than this one that I own. That being said, if I get another kit, it will be in stainless. But as is with the one I own I would recommend. Saves on 223/556 ammo, and still get some practice.
    Thanks for coming by!~~John

  3. @GamerNxUSN Not really because you can pick up decent sights for not much money at all, as far as the optics go, that can get pricey. If it was an option for you, I would probably go ahead and get me a dedicated AR rig, and just drop the CMMG in for cheap trigger time ON your rig.

  4. @WORRO01 Thanks! I should also mention that the CMMG is only OR so I would have to spend some money getting sights or an optic, not really sure what the price range on that is at all, does that change your thoughts on it at all?

  5. @GamerNxUSN I'll be honest, I dont know anything about their lowers, BUT based on what your saying, if this is correct, then YES in my opinion it would be very worth the extra hundred. Good luck to you,~~John

  6. Question for you guys out there. I have had my eye on a .22 ar for a long time. So I have narrowed it down to the CMMG Quebec-A vs the M&P 15-22. The S&W is about $430, the CMMG is about $530, but the CMMG is a real mil-spec lower, so all i have to get later on is an upper. So is that ability worth an extra 100 bucks or so(plus getting sights or an optic)? Any advice would be great! Thanks!

  7. @brotherskeepers111 I tell ya, you cant beat them, I hear the stainless CMMG's are even better than the standard CMMG that I have. Trigger time on your rig is what it's all about. I appreciate you stopping by.

  8. @Jordmate Thanks for comming by Rich, great to hear from you. The kits are nice and make shooting fun fun fun 🙂 I prefer the 223 over the 22 but hey what can I say.
